Before and After School Care

The school offers fee-based before and after school care daily for pre-k and elementary students. Beforecare is from 7:00-8:10 a.m., and aftercare is from 3:30-6:00 p.m. Families sign up for the schedule they need for the school year and pay annually or monthly. Some drop-in care is also available. Aftercare includes a healthy snack.

Aftercare is also available at Gene Slay’s Girls and Boys Club until 7:30 p.m. A school staff member walks students across the street to GSGBC at 3:30 daily.

After School Clubs

Parents, staff and other community members call upon their interests and talents to sponsor after school clubs. These clubs meet weekly for 8 week sessions in fall, winter and spring. Recent clubs have included Chess Club, Sewing Club, Music Production Club and Girls on the Run.

Sports

The Soulard School partners with the Greater St. Louis YMCA to participate in extracurricular sports through YMCA leagues. Sports offered for elementary students include soccer and basketball.

Summer Camp

The school offers weekly summer day camps for all ages. Pre-K camps are limited to currently enrolled students only, while Camp Soulard is open to all applicants who have completed grades K-5th.
